"Technology licensing for developing countries: Do's & Don't's"

The International Development Law Organization-IDLO will organize the third edition of the "Technology licensing for developing countries: Do's & Don't's" capacity building course on intellectual property next summer. the course will be held in Rome on June 25 – July 6, 2012

Training course announcement

The modules of the course will include:
  • Negotiating License Agreements;
  • Technology Transfer and Patent Licensing;
  • Transfer of green technologies;
  • Copyright and Software Licensing and Piracy;
  • Various Business Structures for IP Licensing, i.e., 
  • Master Licensing, Franchising, and Joint Ventures; 
  • Licensing of Traditional Knowledge; and
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution.
